Metal, welding, soldering, subwoofer speakers, water, rope, sand

Exploring my struggles with grief, loss, time, memory and home through the process of using making as a form of therapy.

Growing up beside the beach and following the recent loss of my Dad led me to experiment with the theory of water holding memory and in turn becoming a place for me to store and explore my own.

Using metal, this material and process representing longevity and the rusting mirroring the change in time. This has led to metal becoming the piece that holds these bodies of water that contain my memories.
